For deep-sea anglers there are highly interesting tours organized from various places in Iceland. Iceland's rich fishing grounds are usually only a few minutes cruise from the harbors. The boats are specially equipped for deep-sea-angling. Rods and tackle are supplied, and the fish you catch is yours. The best and closest place to enjoy this is at the Westman Islands, where however weather conditions can at times be tricky to get to/from the Islands and the hot fishing spots.

The catch mainly consists of cod, haddock, and halibut. Some real monsters can be caught. Arrangements can be made upon request to have your catch prepared at our restaurant (except Fridays or Saturdays). Small whales and myriad of seabird can often be observed while deep sea angling. Please inquire about this before arrival as availability is at times limited.
